Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Threads Content Manager (“the Application”, “we”, “us”) processes information when an authorized user connects a Threads account to the Application.

1. Information we process

Depending on the features used and permissions granted through Meta OAuth, we may process:

2. Information we do not request

We do not ask users to provide Threads or Instagram passwords, two-factor authentication codes or email verification codes to the Application. Those credentials, when required, are entered only on Meta-controlled authorization pages.

3. How we use information

We use information only to provide and maintain Application functionality requested by the authorized account owner or administrator, including publishing, managing supported replies and interactions, reading permitted account information, obtaining insights, maintaining account connections, and diagnosing operational errors.

4. Legal basis and authorization

The Application accesses Threads data only after an account owner explicitly authorizes the requested permissions through Meta OAuth. Users may revoke access through Meta account settings and may also request deletion of information stored by the Application.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information may be transmitted to service providers only when required to operate the Application, such as hosting, network infrastructure or AI processing used to generate content requested by the administrator. We do not permit service providers to use this information for unrelated purposes.

6. Data retention

We retain account connection data for as long as the account remains connected and the information is required to provide the Application. Operational logs may be retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. When an account is removed or a valid deletion request is received, data associated with that account is deleted or de-identified unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve security, abuse or billing disputes.

7. Security

We restrict administrative access to stored account information and use HTTPS for web and API communications. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so access tokens and other sensitive application credentials should be treated as confidential.

8. User choices

Authorized users may pause or remove an account from the Application, revoke the Application's access through Meta, and request deletion of app-stored data. See our Data Deletion Instructions.

9. Children's privacy

The Application is intended for adult account owners and administrators and is not directed to children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Application functionality, legal requirements or platform requirements change. The current version and update date will always be published on this page.

11. Contact
